Nadella has expressed support for Linux and the first visible result from this is the release of the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) - commonly called Bash for Windows. With the new CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella comes a whole new direction for Windows. Geert Smelt reported about the talk 'Abusing Bash for Windows' by Antoine Cervoise on how to use bash on Windows (Cygwin, WSL) for privilege escalation and post-exploitation.
